I am Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) at LMU Munich and Economist at the ifo Institute, and I am currently visiting DG Research at the European Central Bank. During the 2024–25 academic year, I was an IES Postdoctoral Fellow at Princeton University.
My research focuses on international trade and trade policy, with an emphasis on how firms and consumers respond to policy-induced changes in trade costs. I build novel large-scale datasets using innovative methods to answer these questions.
I am affiliated with the CESifo and CEPR.
